Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, add the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, minced garlic, and chopped fresh basil. Stir gently until combined.
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar and olive oil over the mixture. Season generously with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, then fold gently to combine all the flavors. Set this vibrant tomato medley aside to marinate.
In a separate medium bowl, use an electric mixer or a sturdy spatula to beat the softened cream cheese and grated Parmesan cheese together until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Stir in the dried oregano until evenly distributed.
In a decorative serving dish, spread an even layer of the creamy cheese mixture as your base, ensuring it's well-covered.
Carefully spoon the prepared chunky tomato mixture over the cheese layer, spreading it out gently for an even distribution.
For enhanced flavor, serve the dip immediately, or cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
