Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

4 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon maple syrup

½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Open the cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and carefully cut each roll into quarters. Evenly distribute the quartered rolls in the prepared baking dish, ensuring they are spread out to form an even base.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup. Beat the mixture until all ingredients are fully combined and the texture is smooth.

Pour the custard mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces in the baking dish. Using your hands, gently toss the cinnamon roll pieces to coat them evenly with the egg mixture.

If desired, sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the top for added crunch and flavor.

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed up and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Drizzle the pre-packaged icing that came with the cinnamon rolls generously over the top. For an extra sweet finish, you can dust the casserole with powdered sugar.

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the casserole warm directly from the baking dish, garnished with additional chopped pecans for texture and a drizzle of maple syrup for extra sweetness.
