Ingredients

1 lb beef steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

3 cups cooked pasta (such as penne or rotini)

2 cups provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the thinly sliced beef. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is well-browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once cooked, remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, green bell pepper, and mushrooms. Sauté the vegetables for about 5 minutes or until they are tender and aromatic.

While the vegetables are cooking, take a large mixing bowl and combine the softened cream cheese with the beef broth. Blend well until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.

To the mixing bowl, add the cooked pasta, sautéed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, and the cooked beef. Stir everything together thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.

Pour the combined mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish, spreading it out evenly for uniform cooking.

Generously top the mixture with the shredded provolone cheese, ensuring the entire surface is covered for a delightful cheesiness.

Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is meltingly bubbly and beautifully golden brown.

Once out of the oven, allow the casserole to cool for about 5 minutes to set before slicing.

Prior to serving, garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of color and freshness.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 55 minutes | Servings: 6
