1teaspoondried thyme
1teaspoondried oregano
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
1/2cupketchup (divided into two portions)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, finely chopped onion, finely chopped bell pepper, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients until thoroughly combined, but avoid overmixing.
Transfer the meat mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, or a greased loaf pan. Shape the mixture into a loaf about 2 inches thick.
In a separate small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of ketchup with the brown sugar, stirring until well blended. Use half of this mixture to coat the top of the meatloaf.
Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
After the first 30 minutes of baking, brush the remaining ketchup glaze over the meatloaf.
Once fully baked, allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For an inviting presentation, slice the meatloaf into thick pieces and arrange them on a platter. Drizzle any remaining glaze on top and garnish with fresh parsley.
